SANTOS BRAVOS Ignites Global Ambitions with “Kawasaki” Single Release

Santiago VargasSantiago VargasJanuary 30, 2026 1353 Minutes read0

SANTOS BRAVOS has dropped a new single, and it’s titled “Kawasaki.” This marks a major step for the group in their global music push, showcasing the power of Santos Bravos Kawasaki. The HYBE Latin America group blends sounds, mixing Latin urban beats with Brazilian rhythms. This new single, “Kawasaki,” offers a fresh sound, presenting a club-style dance track that compares love’s thrill to a racing bike’s engine. The lyrics for Santos Bravos Kawasaki span three languages, featuring Spanish, English, and Portuguese. This multilingual approach engages listeners and highlights the members’ diverse vocal talents. Moreover, the track boasts impressive collaborators, with Grammy winner Diplo co-producing it. Bang Si-hyuk, HYBE’s chairman, also contributed. High-profile producers lent their skills, including Johnny Goldstein, who has worked with global stars, and Vibarco. This collaboration elevates the song and ensures high production quality for the Santos Bravos Kawasaki release. The release is timely, following recent global exposure when the group performed at Paris Fashion Week for Willy Chavarria’s show. They showcased their dynamic stage presence, earning praise from Vogue and Billboard. HYPEBEAST LATAM called them a “new force.” This fashion week appearance amplified their reach and generated significant buzz for Santos Bravos Kawasaki. The performance video for “Kawasaki” is energetic, featuring the five members – Drew, Alejandro, Kauê, Gabi, and Kenneth – who shine with synchronized choreography. Their moves mimic riding a motorbike, with gestures amplifying the song’s passion. This visual element matches the music, showcasing their powerful “Latin” energy. The release of “Kawasaki” is significant, serving as their second single and building on their debut momentum. SANTOS BRAVOS formed through a reality show produced by HYBE Latin America, which sought to create a new boy band by combining K-pop training methods with Latin culture. This strategy is key for HYBE, with Bang Si-hyuk envisioning this model to aim for “multi-home, multi-genre” acts like Santos Bravos Kawasaki. The group debuted in Mexico in October 2025 with their first song, “0%,” which was met with success, including a sold-out concert and a popular livestream. They also performed at Billboard Latin Music Week, demonstrating their growing influence. The members underwent rigorous training, honing their singing and dancing skills with K-pop-style discipline evident in their performances, which blend with their Latin roots. Their performances are precise yet passionate, a unique fusion that sets them apart and defines their “idol-type” identity. The group’s diversity is a strength, with members hailing from different countries, bringing varied perspectives. This multicultural aspect resonates and helps connect different worlds, a trait well-represented in the Santos Bravos Kawasaki sound. The song “Kawasaki” showcases this blend, with its global appeal evident in the lyrics celebrating universal themes of love and excitement, further broadened by the multi-lingual approach. This new music release is strategic, aligning with their global ambitions as the agency pushes them beyond the Americas for worldwide recognition. Additionally, SANTOS BRAVOS earned a nomination for “New Male Artist of the Year” at the 2026 Premio Lo Nuestro, a major Latin music award. They will perform “Kawasaki” live at this event, further boosting their profile and placing them among top Latin artists. Their journey shows rapid growth, and they are proving to be strong contenders. This single release is a major milestone, solidifying their path forward. The group aims to be pioneers, inspire future artists, and act as a cultural bridge to unite communities. “Kawasaki” is more than a song; it’s a declaration of intent, signaling their arrival on the global stage with music that resonates internationally and a unique blend that captivates audiences. Therefore, fans should watch this group closely, as their impact on music is growing. The release of this latin single is a triumph, promising exciting things ahead for Santos Bravos Kawasaki.
