La Linea 2026: London Latin Festival Spotlights Women Artists with Landmark 90% Female Lineup

La Linea, London’s longest-running Latin music festival, announces its exciting return for 2026, promising an unforgettable experience at the upcoming London Latin Festival. Running from April 20 to May 6, 2026, this marks the festival’s 26th edition, presented by Como No. This year’s London Latin Festival features a landmark 90% female lineup, strongly amplifying women’s voices in Latin music and serving as a key platform for new ideas within the vibrant celebration of sound and culture that defines the London Latin Festival, truly a premier Latin music festival.

Celebrating Women’s Power at the London Latin Festival

La Linea makes a significant statement for 2026, placing women artists at the forefront of Latin music at this year’s London Latin Festival. This edition powerfully underscores a deep commitment to championing the extraordinary artistry of women in Latin music who actively shape modern Latin music. The lineup includes global icons and showcases rising talents, representing Latin America and the UK. This London Latin Festival truly reflects London’s global Latin identity and the significant impact of women in music.

An Unforgettable London Latin Festival Lineup

The festival boasts an impressive artist roster for the London Latin Festival. Mexican singer-songwriter Silvana Estrada, a Latin Grammy winner, takes the stage at Union Chapel on April 29. Portuguese Fado star Sara Correia opens the festival at the Barbican on April 20, featuring her new album. This is a highlight of the London Latin Festival.

The renowned Mexican rock band Caifanes will play an intimate show for fans at The Garage on April 28. Zé Ibarra, the vocalist of the Latin Grammy-winning group Bala Desejo, makes his highly anticipated UK debut at the Jazz Cafe on May 6, adding to the diverse offerings of the London Latin Festival.

Spanish artist Lia Kali performs next, bringing her unique blend of soul and hip-hop to Village Underground on April 23. Latinas of London returns to the London Latin Festival, with Desta French leading this collective to celebrate London’s vibrant Latina community at the Jazz Cafe on May 2.

Pianist Eliane Correa leads a special tribute at the London Latin Festival, honoring the legendary Celia Cruz. Las Salseras features an all-female salsa band performing at the Jazz Cafe on April 25. Argentinian nu-cumbia artist La Yegros performs at The Fox and Firkin on April 24. Peruvian artist Renata Flores also performs at the Jazz Cafe on April 24, further enriching the diverse UK Latin music scene presented at the London Latin Festival.

Spanish artists Maria Arnal and Queralt Lahoz share a stage at the Jazz Cafe on May 1, presenting their innovative music at this exceptional Latin music festival, a key event within the London Latin Festival.

Como No is the dedicated presenter of La Linea, having championed Latin creativity for decades. This organization strengthens the vital musical link connecting Latin America and the UK. Como No is now a Not-for-Profit organization, receiving support from Arts Council England. Their mission is increasingly inclusive and community-focused, with Festival director Elena Beltrami emphasizing connection across continents, generations, and sounds throughout the London Latin Festival.
